Captains Address

We are delighted to serve as your Captains and to be part of another exciting year at Craddockstown. The strong sense of community within the club, both on and off the course, continues to be one of its greatest strengths, and we look forward to sharing the year ahead with members and visitors alike.

Craddockstown Golf Club sits in the heart of Naas, with excellent new pedestrian and cycle pathways now leading right up to the club. Our parkland course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities, and the high standard of the course and overall club experience is maintained through the combined efforts of our staff, golf professionals, and volunteers.

Now in the second year of operating under the one-club model, we are seeing the benefits of closer collaboration across committees, while continuing to respect and uphold the ethos and traditions of both the Ladies’ and Men’s sections. While we know there is still work to be done, there is a strong sense of shared purpose as we continue to build the club together. Our club is deeply grateful to the many men and women who quietly give their time across all aspects of club life, and whose dedication underpins everything we do.

In 2025, Craddockstown enjoyed an excellent year in Interclub competitions, with three teams — the Ladies’ Leinster Trophy, Mixed Foursomes and Best Cup — all reaching their respective finals and finishing as narrow-margin runners-up. These performances highlight the strength and depth of golf within the club, and we are confident that with similar commitment and spirit, those fine margins will fall in our favour in the year ahead.

Our Get Into Golf programme and thriving Junior section continue to play a vital role in growing the game at Craddockstown, supported by mentoring and a wide range of enjoyable competitions. Sustainability and biodiversity also remain important focuses as we work towards a greener future for the club.

We sincerely thank our sponsors and encourage members and visitors to support them whenever possible.

We look forward to meeting members and visitors on the fairways and in the Clubhouse throughout 2026 and wish everyone an enjoyable and successful year.
